Nurse! A Magners cider if you would be so kind! Where was I? Eh? Wassat? Oh yes the internet. A damned handy bit of gubbins im sure you'd all agree but whilst playing with Dante, my rubber ducky in the tub earlier.....ah thank you nurse *swigs* I got to thinking if we would really miss it if the plug got yanked tomorrow? Would we? What ho? Really REALLY miss it? As in the end of days like we had run dry of alcohol or something? The wise and drunk Socrates thinketh not! Man would find it difficult at first of course, having gotten used to the convenience and ease of finding information (and Facebook) but after a while we'd move on from standing at the grave of Internet RIP. Humans have existed far longer without the cyber shenanigans and could go back to living without it in an instant. You are 'programmed' by instincts of the flesh not electronics or silicone chips.
The nature of people is soul, but people forget their souls when they go online. They leave their humanity at the door. Online you become a masked avenger, anonymous and feel apart from consequence. It is indeed a powerful elixir but you could go cold turkey and live without it.
Listen to me. Nurse! Refill please !!
